Am I missing something?
So me and a friend have been trying to play this game for 30 minutes and we can't connect to each other. We followed everything in the faq. We've tried both Bluetooth and Wifi since we both have iphones, but neither works. We've tried turning our phones on and off, and redownloading the app. So is there anything I can try that isn't listed in the faq?

At the moment there are some issues with Bluetooth between iOS-8 and pre-iOS-8 iPhones but as far as I know Wifi should still work fine.
Were you able to check for isolation mode (or similar setting) on your Wifi router?
You could also try on a different Wifi network.
